Playground Games
Playground Games is an indie game developer studio based out of San Francisco, CA. They are a small, hungry studio that produces video games. I designed the brand identity as well as the logomark from scratch.
Process
The logo design initally arose from 'School Zone' road sign stencils.
The logo design originated from the idea of Playground Games being cheeky and scrappy within the game industry. What better way to show that than with a black eye.
After several rounds of sketching and iterating, we came to a dynamic design that the client was satisfied with.
